Women’s Empowerment in Lebanon

On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, IFWE launched the Lebanon Chapter!

Lebanese Diaspora Energy (LDE) 2019 Convention:
“Lebanese Women and Youth: The Power of Change” Workshop

On Saturday, June 8, 2019, Mrs. Nada Salem, the President of IFWE, was honored to take an active part in the “Lebanese Women and Youth: The Power of Change” Workshop, alongside Mrs. Violette Khairallah Safadi, Minister of State for Economic Empowerment of Women and Youth, Mr. Gebran Bassil, Minister of Lebanese Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Joseph Jabra, President of the Lebanese American University.

Among others, the objectives of the workshop were to:
– Set the roadmap to establish the international network of Lebanese Women Leaders
– Explore ways in which Lebanese women can enhance their economic skills to achieve economic and financial independence.
